The Junior League of Portland, Maine (JLP) has a rich history of making a positive impact in the community through the hard work, dedication, leadership, and unique talents of its members. We extend a warm welcome to all women who are interested in and committed to volunteering.
By Joining the Junior League of Portland, ME You:
- Become a catalyst for change by serving the Portland community
- Develop personally and professionally through our leadership training opportunities
- Create meaningful and lasting friendships by connecting with other women who are passionate about making a difference in the world
- Become a part of a global impact as part of the Association of Junior Leagues International
How to Become a Member in 4 Easy Steps:
- Attend a Membership Information Session or a Meet & Greet. This step is optional for all Prospective Members but is highly encouraged.
- Complete the Prospective Member Application.
- Pay membership dues. Dues are collected on an annual basis. All paid dues and fees are non-refundable.
- Attend New Member orientation.
Eligibility to join the Junior League of Portland, ME
We warmly welcome all women age 21 or over who have:

- An interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation
